Build an Instant App

AppWow exists to prove that Instant Apps are real products — not demos, not shortcuts, and not watered-down websites.

The AppWow Developer Challenge invites developers to build and submit genuine Instant Apps that install cleanly, launch instantly, and continue to function when the network disappears.

This is not a hackathon and not a competition for speed. It is a proof challenge.

What We Mean by an Instant App

• Installs directly to the home screen
• Launches in standalone app mode
• Works without an app store
• Continues to function in airplane mode (core features)
• Is usable on a real phone, not just desktop

If your app only works online, only runs in a browser tab, or requires mandatory accounts to function, it is not yet an Instant App.

Why Participate

• Your app may appear in the AppWow Directory
• Recognition as Approved by AppWow
• A reference example for the Instant App category
• Early visibility within a new app ecosystem

Submissions are reviewed manually. There is no automated approval and no ranking system.
